Campus Ministries

Campus Ministries offers many opportunities to wrestle, begin, and grow in faith in Jesus, while also seeking to be a spiritual support to those on campus. The four greatest ways to explore and grow in faith outside of the chapel services is through our Campus Ministries events, getting plugged into an on-campus small group, signing up for discipleship, or scheduling a one-on-one with our campus pastor at [email protected]

Counseling Services

The Scraper Counseling Center provides on-campus, free, individual counseling for enrolled MACU students in a compassionate, supportive, confidential Christian environment.

Disability Services

Mid-America Christian University (MACU) seeks to create an environment where all capable students are provided access to educational opportunities. Reasonable and appropriate accommodations, both in and out of the classroom, will be provided for those students who qualify under the American with Disabilities Act as having a disability, unless doing so creates an undue burden for the institution or fundamentally alters a program. A reasonable accommodation may include an adjustment to policies, practices, or procedures to ensure access. For more information, consult the Accommodations Policy & Procedure Manual. Students may request accommodations by contacting the Accommodations Office at [email protected].

Financial Aid

Located on the second floor of Kennedy Hall, the purpose of Financial Aid is to help the student meet his or her financial need for attending the University. MACU participates fully in the federal financial aid programs: Pell Grant, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG), Stafford Loan, and Federal Work Study (FWS) and has a wide range of institutional aid and scholarships available. All students applying for financial aid are required to submit a Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA).

Student Services

As a department, Student Services is a centralized location for many resources you will use outside of the classroom and can assist both current and previous students with the majority of questions related to MACU. Some of these resources include access to the university’s Solution Center, Student Support Specialists, Readmission Specialists, Career Development, MACU’s Career Closet and Food Pantry.

Career Development

Housed in Student Services, MACU offers Career Development opportunities both for current students and alumni. Resources include resume assistance, interview coaching, and premium job-boards through Handshake. We also oversee and help administrate the university’s Student Employment initiatives.

Readmissions

MACU recognizes many students encounter obstacles on their path to degree completion and sometimes need to take a break from classes. In the event that a student withdraws or drops out of MACU, our Readmissions team is ready to help you overcome barriers, reenroll, and get back on track to finishing your degree.
