Above & Beyond Achievement Scholarship
Full Tuition
Above & Beyond Achievement Scholarship is awarded to two recipients per year. Eligible applicants must have an ACT score 33 or above & a GPA of 4.0 or an ACT score range of 34 – 36 & a minimum GPA of 3.7 or above. Recipients must maintain a 3.2 cumulative GPA for annual renewal.
Achievement New Student Scholarship
$12,000
A GPA of 3.65 – 4.0 combined with a cumulative ACT score range of 33 – 36 is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.2 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Evangel New Student Scholarship
$10,000
A GPA of 3.45 – 4.0 combined with a cumulative ACT score range of 30 – 36 is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Inspire New Student Scholarship
$8,000
A GPA of 3.15 – 4.0 combined with a cumulative ACT score range of 27 – 36 is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Visionary New Student Scholarship
$7,000
A GPA of 3.0 – 4.0 combined with a cumulative ACT score range of 21 – 36 is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Dream New Student Scholarship
$5,000
A GPA of 3.0 – 4.0 combined with a cumulative ACT score range of 20 – 36 is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Opportunity New Student Scholarship
$3,000
A GPA of 3.0 – 3.75 combined with a cumulative ACT score range of 20 – 36 is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.

Achievement Transfer Scholarship
$12,000
A GPA of 3.9 – 4.0 & at least 24 transfer credit hours is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.2 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Evangel Transfer Scholarship
$8,000
A GPA of 3.8 – 3.89 & at least 24 transfer credit hours is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Inspire Transfer Scholarship
$6,000
A GPA of 3.6 – 3.79 & at least 24 transfer credit hours is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Visionary Transfer Scholarship
$4,000
A GPA of 3.4- 3.59 & at least 24 transfer credit hours is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Dream Transfer Scholarship
$2,000
A GPA of 3.2 – 3.39 & at least 24 transfer credit hours is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Opportunity Transfer Scholarship
$1,000
A GPA of 3.0 – 3.19 & at least 24 transfer credit hours is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for annual renewal. Automatically applied once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is submitted.
Teacher Education Scholarships
MACU provides the following scholarships for teacher candidates:
- The Aldridge Endowment
- Given to an Elementary Education major who has 3.0 GPA, with priority to juniors and seniors
- The Emma & Silas Beebe Endowment
- Given to music education majors with financial need
- The Claude & Ollie Bell Endowment
- Given to teacher candidates with financial need, giving priority to juniors and seniors.
- The Max R. Miller Endowment
- Given to students with financial needs with priority given to juniors and seniors
- The Ralph/Audrey Taylor General Endowment
- Given to MACU students
