Jamie Ward is the Co-Program Director of Accounting and Ethics. He is a MACU alumni who graduated from the school when it was known as Mid-America Bible College. He has been teaching in higher education for over 8 years and has a background that includes 10 years of banking and 18 years in the public accounting field. He earned his master’s and then his CPA designation in 2016 and currently is the Co-Owner of Ascension CPA. He finds the field of accounting very rewarding as it gives him the opportunity to educate and assist both individuals and businesses.
Jamie and his wife Heather, who is also a MACU alumni, have two children, Brock and Brooklyn. As a family they love traveling and vacationing together. Their favorite trip is usually one that involves anything Disney. If you are trying to find Jamie when he isn’t at MACU or Ascension CPA, you might try looking at the local golf course. He loves to tee it up!
