Program Director/Associate Professor: School of Business Leadership
Dr. Jesus A. Sampedro is an Associate Professor and Program Director of the Master of Arts (MA) in Leadership program. He joined MACU in 2008 when he started to teach as an adjunct professor. He has been honored to teach various courses for the School of Business Leadership since then.
Developing leaders has been his longtime passion since 1999, and that journey led him to obtain a Certificate in Global Business and a BA in Business Administration from the Universidad de Carabobo (Venezuela), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership (DSL) from Regent University in Virginia, USA.
He is a Certified and Licensed Leadership Coach-Trainer (Since 2004) by Lifeforming Leadership Coaching. He has served in various organizational roles, from small family businesses to corporations, and global marketplace ministries. He founded the firm Leadershift – Global Leadership Consulting and has trained leaders around the world (+30 countries).
He has served on various boards, including CBMC International (AEEC) Executive Chamber, Founding Member of the Business and Theology Council of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), and is currently on the board of the International Coach Federation- ICF (AR-OK Chapter). He is also a member of the International Leadership Association – ILA (Since 2009).
He has authored/co-authored many articles and seven leadership books and has taught in four world-class business schools. He has been a voice in spaces like media, podcasts, the Christian Economic Forum (CEF), GPro Congress, Business LATAM, and The 700 Club, among others. He keeps his focus on leveraging global leadership development through the integration of leadership and faith at work.
