If I’m living on campus, what will happen if my roommate is diagnosed with COVID-19?
If your roommate has been diagnosed with COVID-19, you will work with DPS or Student Life to determine if a COVID-19 test is needed. If you are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, you will quarantine until you have a negative COVID-19 test and/or are cleared by a medical professional. Are guests allowed to visit campus?
Yes, guests are allowed to visit campus but must check in at Fozard Hall or Kennedy Hall upon arrival. If an individual has not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, use of a mask is strongly recommended.

How should I proceed if I am diagnosed with COVID-19 or may have been exposed?
Every CAS (traditional) student that suspects they are ill or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 should immediately contact MACU DPS by calling or texting (405) 694-5242. The University has an action plan in place for quarantine/isolation and to take care of any student’s needs. CAGS (adult) students should contact the CAGS Solution Center at 1-877-569-3198.

How is MACU keeping the campus clean and sanitized?
MACU is committed to the health and safety of our community! Common areas, such as restrooms and the Student Center, are cleaned regularly throughout the day. Hand sanitizer stations have also been installed throughout the campus.
