Mid-America Christian University (MACU) recently hosted alumni, students, faculty and community members on campus for Homecoming weekend filled with festivities, reunions and athletics.
Events included alumni receptions, a student art show, Trunk-or-Treating for the surrounding community, alumni worship service and big wins for MACU volleyball and basketball teams. The weekend also featured a historic matchup as MACU softball, led by head coach Jim Gasso, faced off against OU softball, coached by his wife Patty Gasso.
“Homecoming weekend was filled with laughter, memories and spiritual refreshing,” said MACU President Phil Greenwald. “It was great to see alumni and current students experiencing the beauty of campus and hearing stories of the impact the University has made in their lives. We celebrate the great things God has done through the years as we continue training leaders for ministry in the church and the marketplace.”
