Mid-America Christian University (MACU) recently established a partnership with Warner Pacific University (WPU) in Portland, Oregon to offer WPU students access to MACU’s online Ministry program starting in Spring 2025.
“This partnership continues the long-standing commitment of both institutions to train leaders for ministry in the Church of God (Anderson),” said MACU President Phil Greenwald. “Together, we are preparing students through a Christ-centered, biblical worldview to serve churches, nonprofits and their communities.”
MACU’s School of Ministry integrates biblical foundations with accredited academic studies to develop lifelong ministry scholars and practitioners. The online program offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Christian Ministries and Ministry Leadership with concentrations including pastoral studies, transformational leadership and pastoral and crisis care.
“Through course-sharing, students from WPU directly engage with the distinguished faculty in our School of Ministry,” said Dr. Sharon Lease, Vice President of Academic Affairs at MACU. “We are honored to expand the reach and further the mission of both universities.”
President Greenwald, Warner Pacific University President Dr. Brian Johnson and President of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities Dr. David Hoag formally signed the partnership agreement on December 13 ahead of the WPU Winter Commencement on December 14. WPU students will be able to enroll in the MACU online Ministry program for the Spring 2025 semester.
